Every summer as a kid my parents would rent a beach house on Moody Dr. in Flagler County and we’d stay there for one week. One of the things we would do would be to take a little boat over to this fort, and walk around the fort, and talk about the fort and look at the fort, etc.. We knew the boat captain and he would always give us spanish bread that he had on board with him.
The funny thing was that this little trip to the fort was so uneventful, but we would return year after year just because it was a thing to do. Some of my favorite memories from childhood are from those summers at the beach.

When Erin and I get sad we draw pictures of pretzels to make us feel better. Today has been a very sad day, so I drew a real good pretzel and we got tattoos of it. We’re all going to miss you, Brendan.
We are going to watch The Holy Grail tonight because I don’t think there was a time that we hung out that you didn’t quote Monty Python at least a couple times.
Erin and I stayed inside all day yesterday and rearranged a lot of things. We’re slowly phasing Ikea products out of our apartment while simultaneously planning trips to Ikea to buy more stuff but that’s just the way it is I guess.
